We were heading to town to do some shopping, groceries n' such. Our first stop was Sonic for some breakfast.
Dashboard Confessional: Sausage, cheese, croissant with tots and coffee. - Delish.
Second stop, "Wally World." I picked up a new bed - body pillow - and blankie for Miss FiFi. They're very soft n' comfy. She loves them.
After "Wally World" came my most favorite store...
I love to see these bags and I love the stuff inside even more! Fabric for all things baby for my soon to be grand-Princess.
Then it was lunch at an awesome Chinese buffet.
Thanks for the heads up but
who the hell is Lucky???
And with the washing comes the fraying. I know there are techniques to prevent this but after I FINALLY got those stickers off of the fat quarters I just wanted to get everything in the machine and be done with it!
My daughter has picked out gray, yellow and white for her nursery colors, slightly challenging when you're trying to make something babyish but I think the first quilt - I'm making two - is going to be pretty cute. I'm going with a pinwheel design with embroidered embellishments to follow.
All things baby is going to consume the majority of my time these next couple of months.
My Reading List - Breaking my own self imposed rule of finishing a book no matter what, I gave up reading "Falling Angels" by Tracy Chevalier. I just could not get into it and it was sooo boring. So, I started reading "A Bend In The Road" by Nicholas Sparks and so far, so good. Not bored yet. And to be honest, I've never read a Nicholas Sparks book that I didn't love. I'm sure this one will be no different.
Heading to bed. Our days start early around here - 5am - and I'm going to be parked in front of my sewing machine all day.
Happy Tuesday everyone. Make it a great day.
Love & Blessings,
