AMEN!!!! Yes if they take away guns from good people bad people still will have them and this guy was obviously not going to stop since he was chasing after them up to the attic. Thank goodness she had a gun!
I'm with you on this one. Even if I have to jump through a lot of hoops to get one in Ca.
I'm a lover, not a fighter. BUT I will fight if necessary. We have a gun. Hope to never have to use it. But we have one.
@Emmy - Exactly! This guy was clearly intent on harming her AND her children since he went after one of them first! How scary is that???
@Jenn - Can you imagine if she hadn't had the gun??? I will jump through a million hoops if it means one day saving my family or myself..
@Judy - And that's the point. It's there if you ever - and prayers that you do not - have to use it.

My husband and I were just discussing how we need to get a gun before we r unable to (praying to God that day never comes).....and this story is exactly why .....
@Kathy - Thank you and this is precisely why guns should not be banned.
@Robin - I agree. I believe the time will come when we won't be able to freely buy guns for our own personal protection. The meeting Obama had today scares me to death..
